Google Toolbar PR Page Rank Update September 26th 2008
It appears that last night Google ran a export of PR or Page Rank update for the Google Toolbar. I am not sure of the extent of the update, but I can see increased PR for all the internal pages of the seo moves website, looks like all internal pages are now a PR5. I have also noticed changes across many domains, some up a few and some down a few.
Typically the PR updates are awaited by webmasters all over the internet, as this supports the entire link buying and selling marketplace, at least for the novice buyers and sellers.
Most experienced SEO’s know that the Google PR is always updating in real time, if you want to view your current PR or Page Rank all that is required is setting up of Google Webmaster Tools, you can do this simply by adding some meta tag information to your home page.
Once your set up with webmaster tools, and you have verified your domain rights, simply click statistics and then on crawl stats on the left. This will display how often and how deeply Googlebot is indexing your website. Below the graphs is a breakdown of your websites current Page Rank. Google will give you general guidelines and here is a chart to help you understand what not assigned, low, medium and high mean:
Not Yet Assigned- would be a grey bar or no Google Page Rank.
Low- this puts your Page Rank Between PR0-PR3
Medium- this puts your Google Page Rank Between PR4-PR6
High- this puts your Google Page Rank between PR7-PR10
Needless to say, I am not quite sure if this recent update is a small update or an internet wide update, but I am 100% certain that a Google Toolbar PR Page Rank update took place last night 9-26-2008.
I hope everyone reading this either stayed the same or went up.
